Wordle - This is fascinating. Compared to all other inaugural speeches, Obama's use of the words "crisis," "jobs" and "generation" was unique. The words "government" and "great" were unusually absent.
Jonathan Feinberg created this fascinating collaborative toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. It's called wordle. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.Following Obama's inauguration, Feinberg saw several blog posts and newspaper stories featuring Wordles of the inaugural address. So he compared it to all others to see what makes one person's words distinctive.
